Players can also enter their name and fighting stance for a more personalized experience.
Mitts Round
Mitts puts the player against a virtual avatar where the goal is to hit all the targets quickly and accurately, while maintaining power. When playing with defensive moves enabled, the player will also have to evade strikes made by the trainer.
Score is based on the player’s Accuracy, Pace, Power, Reaction Time, and Defensive Moves performed.
- Accuracy is calculated by the number of correct strikes you make over the course of the round.
- Pace is calculated by the total number of strikes you made divided by the number of correct strikes that were possible for the round.
- Power represents how hard the targets are hit, with the optimal power being 100%. Overpowered or underpowered strikes are scored for less.
- Reaction Time represents how quickly a target is struck. Striking the targets too soon or too late will result in a lower score.
- Successfully completing Defensive Moves results in a higher score.
Sparring Round
Sparring is a freestyle mode where the player faces off against a virtual avatar. The player can use any moves they like, while performing combos and evading strikes.
Score is based on the player’s Accuracy, Pace, Power, Reaction Time, Combos, Strike Location, and Defensive Moves performed.
- Double, Triple, and Quad Combos can all be performed for a high score multiplier. A higher combo will result in a higher multiplier.
- Strike Location is represented by the coloring of different areas on the virtual avatar. Striking the same location multiple times will result in that area gradually turning red. Red areas are scored lower than other areas, so distribute strikes evenly among areas for a better score.
- Successfully completing Defensive Moves results in a higher score.
